The 2026 NCAA Tournament has the first darling. When 4th-seeded Nebraska came into Thursday’s game to start their journey, the Huskers were winless. No they’re heading to the Sweet 16 with a 74-72 win over No. 5 Vanderbilt.
The Commodores tried to win the game on a prayer from over half court that went in and out. One incredible way to end the season for the SEC runner-up. As for the Huskers, after taking down Troy and now Vanderbilt, they live to fight on. Pryce Sandfort led the way with 15 points and five rebounds.
