On Tuesday, Cam Jordan signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints and officially announced that this will be his 16th and final season with the team.

To mark this momentous occasion, Jordan and the Cam Jordan Foundation are launching “Thank You NOLA,” a season-long campaign that is dedicated to celebrating the city, people, and communities that have been part of his journey since arriving in New Orleans in 2011.

“For the last 15 years, New Orleans has been more than a city to me, it’s been family,” said Jordan. “This season is about gratitude. It’s about saying thank you to the teachers, students, families, fans, teammates, and community leaders who have supported me every step of the way. Football brought me here, but the people of New Orleans gave me a home.”

Throughout the 2026 season, Jordan will combine his final year on the field with an expanded commitment to community impact, creating opportunities to recognize local heroes, invest in young people, and strengthen programs that will continue serving Louisiana families for years to come.

The “Thank You NOLA” campaign will feature 16 weeks of community engagement, surprise activations, service projects, fan experiences, and charitable initiatives designed to celebrate the city while investing in its future.

THE LEGACY FUND:

The Legacy Fund will serve as a dedicated vehicle for supporting scholarships, mentorship programs, school-based initiatives, youth development efforts, and community investments throughout Louisiana. Through a long-term sustainable vision and fund, Jordan hopes to continue his impact well into the next 16 years.

16 FOR 16:

A 16 week giveback initiative for Cam’s 16 years of commitment to the New Orleans Saints and community, honoring teachers, students, first responders, nonprofit leaders, and lifelong Saints fans. School visits and mentorship opportunities across Louisiana. Community service projects and neighborhood activations. Special fan experiences celebrating Jordan’s impact on New Orleans and the Saints organization.

SACKS FOR SCHOLARS:

A season-long fundraising platform where corporate partners and supporters pledge contributions tied to sack milestones achieved throughout the season. Funds raised will directly support scholarships and educational programming through the Cam Jordan Foundation.

ANNUAL CAM JORDAN FOUNDATION DINNER:

The Foundation’s signature fundraising event, scheduled for October 12, 2026, in New Orleans, will bring together athletes, business leaders, community champions, and supporters to celebrate community impact while investing in the next generation of Louisiana students.

LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:

The Foundation will continue expanding its flagship scholarship program, which provides up to $12,500 annually in tuition assistance for Louisiana students pursuing higher education within the state. The program currently supports eight scholars and provides participants with financial assistance, laptops, professional development opportunities, mentorship from industry leaders, and access to career-building experiences designed to prepare them for long-term success.

A RECORD OF SERVICE:

Community engagement has been a defining part of Jordan’s career from the moment he arrived in New Orleans. Through more than 250 school visits, annual youth camps, holiday giving initiatives, scholarship programs, and partnerships with local organizations, Jordan has consistently invested in helping young people succeed. In 2025 alone, Jordan visited 14 Louisiana schools, with each visit accompanied by a $10,000 contribution supporting educational resources, extracurricular programming, and student wellness initiatives. Those efforts will continue throughout the 2026 season and beyond.
