Last night was all about goals and galore for Al Nassr. The Knights of the Najd kept their winning streak alive by clinching a remarkable 6-0 victory against Al Wehda. Yet, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who stole the spotlight yet again, notching his 66th career hat-trick. Aside from the fans, CR7’s beloved girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez added her voice to the chorus of admiration by firing a 3-word message to celebrate Al Nassr’s star’s heroics.

As usual, the Argentine-Spanish influencer remained a regular visitor during Al Nassr’s home games, showing her support for her boyfriend by sitting in the stands of the Al Awwal Stadium. After the Portuguese superstar successfully notched the feat, she took to Instagram stories and posted a clip of Ronaldo’s third goal being replayed on the big screens of the stadium. Additionally, Rodriguez wrote a caption saying, “Hat-trick ❤ de CR,” which means “Hat-trick from CR” as translated. 

Notably, the goal fiesta started for Ronaldo within just 5 minutes. Having broken the deadlock, the 39-year-old added a second in the 12th minute, before Otavio made it third a few minutes later. As the referee was about to blow the whistle to end the first half, Sadio Mane added a fourth for his side. Moments before the hour mark, Ronaldo netted his third goal with defender Mohammed Al-Fatil icing the cake with his finish. 

Either way, it’s good to see Ronaldo still taking the match ball at home as he left his significant other in awe. Interestingly, just days ago, the Al Nassr skipper had forced Rodriguez to react to the brilliant left-foot volley that he scored against Al Khaleej. Meanwhile, Ronaldo managed to clinch another milestone due to his last night’s heroics.

Thanks to a remarkable 66th hattrick of his career, the former Real Madrid man has now scored 52 goals in 52 games for Al Nassr this season. Additionally, Cristiano Ronaldo got a surge of 66G/A this season. completing a total of 14 assists. That’s not all as he also remains the top-scorer of the Saudi Pro League with a tally of 32 goals, boasting a difference of 11 goals ahead of Aleksander Mitrovic. 

With four games remaining before the season ends, Ronaldo will be looking to further extend his lead in the top scorer list. Even though the chances of winning the Roshn League are slim, Luis Castro’s side would certainly fight till their last breath. If not, at least they would like to finish their season with a King Cup of Champions trophy as they are bound to play the final against Al Hilal. 

Certainly, there’s still a lot of work remaining for both Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo before they curtain the ongoing season to sit back and relax.
