Justin Barcia Provides Update, Not Riding Yet and Taking it Week to Week

Justin Barcia posted an Instagram video this afternoon, stating he will not be racing this weekend. The Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GasGas rider announced after the Southwick National that he would miss some time due to knee injuries. In his brief video update, Barcia posted he was hoping to be back for the Unadilla National, but his recovery has taken longer than anticipating. Before he returns to racing he first has to return to riding. The #51 will more than likely also miss next weekend’s Budds Creek National and possibly the Ironman National finale. However, if he is unable to return for Pro Motocross, he sits ninth in the 450SMX SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) standings, well within a top 20 automatic transfer spot. Watch his video update below.
