Husqvarna Mobility Introduces 2025 EE 5: Electric Motocross with Water-Cooling Tech!

Husqvarna Mobility has taken a significant step forward in electric motocross innovation with the introduction of its 2025 EE 5. This latest model is set to raise the bar for electric off-road motorcycles, featuring cutting-edge water-cooling technology, extended battery life, and a host of improvements designed to enhance the riding experience for young motocross enthusiasts.

Advanced Water-Cooling for Enhanced Performance

One of the standout features of the 2025 EE 5 is its water-cooled electric motor, a first for the brand’s electric-powered lineup. This new cooling system improves the overall efficiency of the motor by preventing overheating during extended use. As a result, the battery life of the EE 5 has been increased by 30%, allowing riders to enjoy longer sessions on the track with more consistent power delivery throughout.

Power and Battery Life to Rival 50cc Bikes

The EE 5 is powered by a 907 Wh lithium-ion battery and a 5 kW electric motor, placing it in direct competition with traditional 50cc combustion engine bikes. This combination delivers smooth, powerful acceleration, making it ideal for younger riders looking to get serious about motocross. The EE 5 offers six customizable ride modes, making it adaptable for riders of varying skill levels, from beginners to more experienced racers.

In the lowest power mode, the EE 5 provides up to two hours of riding time. For those pushing the bike to its limits in the highest mode, the running time is reduced to around 30 minutes, depending on track conditions. Recharging the bike is also straightforward, thanks to a universal charger that can be connected to any standard 110V or 230V outlet. An 80% charge can be achieved in just 45 minutes, with a full charge taking around 70 minutes.

Adjustable Chassis and Premium Suspension

Husqvarna has equipped the 2025 EE 5 with an adjustable chassis, allowing the bike to grow with its rider. The seat height can be lowered from the standard 674 mm to 626 mm, making it more accessible for younger or shorter riders. As the rider grows, the seat can easily be raised back to its original height.

The bike’s WP suspension system offers high-performance handling across a variety of track conditions. The rear shock provides 193 mm of travel and is fully adjustable for preload, high/low-speed compression, and rebound. Paired with the front 35 mm WP forks that provide 205 mm of travel, the EE 5 offers superior handling, even on rough terrain.

High-Quality Components for Top Performance

In addition to its advanced technology and customization options, the 2025 EE 5 is built with premium components to ensure top-tier performance. The frame is constructed from high-strength, chromium-molybdenum steel, providing durability and stability. NEKEN handlebars, ODI grips, and MAXXIS tires further enhance control and grip, giving riders confidence as they tackle challenging tracks. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure powerful, reliable stopping performance.

New 2025 EE 5: A Safer, Eco-Friendly Choice

Since its introduction in 2019, the EE 5 has been a popular choice for young riders entering the world of motocross. Its electric powertrain eliminates harmful emissions, making it a more environmentally friendly option compared to traditional gasoline-powered bikes. With this latest model, Husqvarna has improved not only performance but also safety, offering young riders a cleaner, quieter, and more reliable way to enjoy the sport.

Husqvarna Kids Railed Gear and Accessories

Alongside the launch of the 2025 EE 5, Husqvarna Mobility has unveiled a new line of Kids Railed Gear, designed specifically for young riders. This collection includes helmets, goggles, jerseys, pants, and gloves, with the Flame boots (manufactured by Sidi) completing the set. Each piece of gear is crafted from high-quality materials, ensuring both comfort and protection on the track.

In addition, a selection of Technical Accessories will allow EE 5 owners to further customize their bike to suit individual preferences and riding styles.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Husqvarna EE 5 is available now at authorized Husqvarna Mobility dealerships worldwide. Availability may vary by country, so riders are encouraged to contact their local dealership for specific details on pricing and stock.

Conclusion

The 2025 Husqvarna EE 5 brings exciting advancements to the world of electric motocross, providing young riders with longer battery life, customizable performance settings, and a safer, eco-friendly ride. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to hone your motocross skills, the EE 5 delivers an exceptional riding experience that’s ready to tackle any track.
