The ‘Most career 40-point games since the NBA/ABA merger’ quiz
With Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox done for the year in San Antonio, the Spurs are unlikely to be participating in the NBA postseason. But for some players — like Sandro Mamukelashvili — the games are still meaningful.
In a win over the New York Knicks Mamukelashvili set an NBA record with 34 points in just 19 minutes of action in a 120-105 win over the New York Knicks.
“I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time,” said the fourth year player who has averaged just 4.9 points in 11.0 minutes-per game in his career.
“I feel like I’m in a dream. I manifested and prayed for it. I really had an out of body experience for a little bit there.”
