KTM’s 2026 EXC 6DAYS: Performance Upgrades, Bold Italian Livery… but Design May Fall Short

KTM’s 2026 EXC 6DAYS models have officially landed — packed with special edition graphics honoring the ISDE (International Six Days Enduro) in Italy. Built for competition and inspired by the Italian flag, these bikes carry all the performance upgrades expected — however, some enthusiasts feel the new design may fall short of expectations.

This year’s ISDE takes place in Bergamo, Italy (August 24–30), and KTM’s latest 6DAYS editions aim to stand out both in terms of technology and aesthetics. While the upgrades are clear, the bold livery has sparked mixed reactions.

The Line-Up

For 2026, KTM will release five 6DAYS models:

  • 2-Stroke: 300 EXC 6DAYS

  • 4-Stroke: 250 EXC-F 6DAYS, 350 EXC-F 6DAYS, 450 EXC-F 6DAYS, 500 EXC-F 6DAYS

Each is based on the recently updated 2026 KTM Enduro platform, but equipped with a series of exclusive modifications.

Key Technical Updates

  • Suspension: Revised WP XACT closed cartridge forks with polished springs, lighter components, and improved damping. Paired with an updated WP XPLOR PDS shock for balance and stability.

  • Cooling & Durability: Reinforced radiator closure, new fuel line protector, and radiator fans fitted as standard.

  • Braking & Control: Floating front brake disc, solid rear disc, rear brake safety wire, and a weight-saving skid plate.

  • Electronics & Settings: Map selector switch for quick on-the-fly adjustments.

Exclusive 6DAYS Features

  • Special Livery: Italian flag-inspired graphics (blue, white, green, red) with orange frame accents.

  • Premium Components: CNC-machined triple clamps, Supersprox stealth sprocket, front axle puller, and 6DAYS-branded handlebars, silencers, and rims.

  • Tires: Metzeler 6DAYS Extreme rubber for proven grip in competition.

  • Ergonomics: Blue grippy seat fabric, new fork guards, and a distinctive rear mudguard.

  • 4-Stroke Models: Available from September 2025 at authorized KTM dealers.

  • 300 EXC 6DAYS (2-Stroke): Available from October 2025.
