Cowboys injuries: Diggs practices, Guyton & Turpin upgraded to full participation

This week, the Dallas Cowboys face the Chicago Bears. The Cowboys are pretty healthy so far for this week, but the Bears are battling injuries.

We’ll start with the Cowboys side of things.

After missing practice yesterday due to an illness, Trevon Diggs returned to practice at a full capacity. DaRon Bland (foot) was listed as a DNP. However, Tyler Guyton (shoulder) and KaVontae Turpin (neck) were upgraded to full participation after being limited yesterday.

As of the second practice of the week, the Bears aren’t looking very good, particularly on the defensive side. Linebacker T.J. Edwards and cornerback Kyler Gordon were listed as DNPs again today with hamstring injuries. Grady Jarrett, a player the Bears are relying heavily on to shore up their defensive line interior, was upgraded but still limited because of a knee injury. To make matters worse, former All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler Jaylon Johnson (groin) didn’t practice today either and has basically already been ruled out. Bears RB1 D’Andre Swift has been limited all week.
