The year of Travis Kelce continues.

Tatiana Siegel of Variety reported the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is one of the investors in a “low-budget dark comedy” movie titled My Dead Friend Zoe. The movie stars Natalie Morales, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman and Sonequa Martin-Green and will be Kelce’s entrance into the movie world.

The movie cost less than $10 million and was financed by the sale of surplus tax credits from green energy entrepreneur Mike Field, who is also a producer on the film. That makes this the first movie to capitalize on President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act as a source of funding.

This comes as Kelce has become even more of a household name by dating international music star Taylor Swift.

In terms of football, he helped lead the Chiefs to their third Super Bowl title in five years with a 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He led both teams with nine receptions for 93 yards.

However, it was teammate Mecole Hardman who caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in overtime.
